tpack - Tcl script file packer

Tcl script file package which allows you do add all required packages and files to your appication and run it as a standalone Tcl script on a system where Tcl/Tk is installed.

Version 0.5.0 should be Tcl 9 compatible.

Installation just download tpack-b64.tcl to your file system, rename it to tpack and make it executable and place it into a folder belonging to your PATH variable.

Here an example on how you can install the script into you ~/.local/bin folder if that is part of your PATH variable:

$ wget https://github.com/mittelmark/tpack/releases/download/v0.5.0/tpack -O ~/.local/bin/tpack
$ chmod 755 ~/.local/bin/tpack
$ tpack --version
0.5.0

In case you use Tcl 8.4 or you encounter problems you can try to use tpack-tar.tcl which should be Tcl 8.4 compatible, but probably does not work with Tcl 9.0.
