Documentation
- The README's "Add to Cursor" button adds the hosted server with a browser
sign-in, not a placeholder key. Its base64 payload decoded to the local
server withMNEMOVERSE_API_KEY=mk_live_YOUR_KEY: Cursor showed a green
connection and the full tool list, then refused the first call, and the
README carried a paragraph telling readers to skip its own button
(core#623). The button is now the console's, character for character
(mnemoverse-portal#290):configis base64 of
{"url":"https://mcp.mnemoverse.com/mcp"}, Cursor writes that to
~/.cursor/mcp.json, and Connect in Cursor's MCP settings runs the
sign-in. The warning paragraph is gone; the API-key JSON stays below the
button as the local-server path, and the prose says which is which. The
generateddocs/configs/cursor-deep-link.txtcarries the same hosted
payload.docs/snippets/cursor.md, which mnemoverse.com/docs mirrors into
the API-key section of its Cursor page, is unchanged and moves with a docs
PR.test/install-links.test.tsdecodes every install link in the README
and fails on one that installs anything but the hosted server or carries
a key. - The npm line and the README's first screen say what the server does, and
the ranking mechanics are gone from the prose. Thepackage.json
description (the line npm search shows) no longer says "learns from
outcomes" or "feedback re-ranks recall": it names write and read, the four
main hosts, the canonical feedback sentence ("rating a recalled memory as
helpful or misleading re-ranks what comes back next"), the OAuth sign-in or
API key, and the free plan. The README opens with the two calls, the
per-userdomain, the free plan's numbers from mnemoverse.com/pricing, the
two ways to connect and a link to the steps for other hosts. The two
passages that named the engine's internals (the ranking update rule and a
consolidation stage that is switched off on the hosted service) are
removed, three more paraphrases of the ranking now use the canonical
sentence, and the comparison no longer says that nothing inCLAUDE.md
follows you to the next window: a committed file travels with its
repository, and what it cannot do is reach a tool that does not read it.
Four keywords are added (memory-layer,ai-memory,llm-memory,
feedback). The registry line insrc/configs/source.jsonis unchanged.
test/listing-text.test.tsnow holds the npm line to the canonical
sentence and fails on a ranking mechanism named in the prose of any
listing surface, or of the newestCHANGELOG.mdsection that has
entries, which becomes the GitHub release body.

vitest range raised to
^4.1.11. The range was^4.1.9, which still
admitted 4.1.9 and 4.1.10, inside GHSA-82fw-gwwq-j7x9 (CVE-2026-84373,
>= 2.1.0, < 4.1.11). The lockfile already resolved 4.1.11, so installs
do not change; a scanner that reads the declared range has no vulnerable
version left to match. vitest is a dev dependency and does not ship in
the package. -
