Hey Mark this is an awesome idea! Can any benefit be derived from using Jason's "Cast" thingy for parts of Gitify?

I'll elaborate on the differences between Cast and Gitify later (Jason asked me on twitter yesterday as well - might do a blog post eventually) but there are ideas in Cast that are in Gitify currently or will be soon, but there are also differences that make them incompatible.

What I tweeted to Jason answering his question how Gitify is different:

Gitify doesn't as much serialize the db as make a file based representation that is both human and machine friendly
it also doesn't wrap git, but it will probably autocommit changes at some point. It also combines other tools, like cli install
