Morrow v1.0.0
Morrow 1.0
Version 1.0 establishes the documented 1.x source API contract while retaining the 0.9 behavior: UTC defaults, validated calendar values, native IANA timezones and DST controls, lazy ranges, and English/Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese text APIs.
Distribution validation
- Every release archive is extracted and tested by a consumer outside the source checkout before upload.
- Consumer checks cover parsing, formatting, duration arithmetic, DST folds, localization, lazy iteration, and expected errors.
- Six archives cover Mojo 1.0.0 and 1.1.0 on Linux x86-64, Linux ARM64, and macOS ARM64. Choose the matching compiler/platform archive and verify SHA256SUMS.
- Named and local timezones require ICU; macOS provides it, Debian/Ubuntu users can install
libicu-dev, and the Conda recipe declares the dependency.
Testing and performance
119 unit-test functions include 6,000 fixed-seed property samples. CI also runs 400 deterministic behavioral comparisons. All supported compiler/platform combinations validate the library and its precompiled consumer.
make test-package runs the isolated consumer locally. make benchmark emits five samples for UTC shifts, ISO round trips, IANA conversions, and lazy ranges. Benchmark timings are informational.
No line/branch coverage percentage is claimed: Mojo 1.0.0 and 1.1.0 do not expose a supported coverage option in the documented CLI, and both reject --coverage in local checks.
See the stability and distribution contract, testing guide, and migration guide. Precompiled files are compiler/platform-specific; source compatibility does not imply binary compatibility across compiler versions.
