Donkey Kong Country Recomp 0.1.3: fixes the black screen after saving at Candy's Save Point. Setup pack: no ROM or game data is included.

Fixed

  • Black screen after saving at Candy's Save Point. The screen went black while the sound kept playing. Saving now returns to the map, and the saved slot loads from the file select screen.
  • A one-frame stall on the game's first frame is gone too.

Updating from 0.1.2: accept the update offer when the game starts, then press Generate & rebuild. In-game saves, save states and settings are kept (checked for this release: a save and a save state made in 0.1.2 survive the update and load in 0.1.3). From this version on, the updater also backs up your saves before installing.
