HTCommander v0.5.1
Cross-platform (Avalonia / .NET) port of Ylian Saint-Hilaire's HTCommander. Android port by Mark Pratt, KE4AXW.
📱 Android (data-only beta)
HTCommander-android.apk — sideload onto an Android phone. Pair the radio in Settings → Bluetooth first, then allow the Nearby devices permission on launch. Round-one scope is data only (APRS, packet, Winlink mail, channels) — no voice yet. (iOS isn't possible — Apple blocks Classic-Bluetooth RFCOMM to non-MFi radios.)
Highlights in 0.5.1
- Android Bluetooth fix — requests the Nearby-devices permission so a paired radio is actually found.
- Mail persists on Android — Save to Outbox/Draft works (SQLite store now bundled).
- Tap a channel to tune the radio to it; per-row Edit to change a slot. Channels is the 2nd tab.
- "Loading channels" overlay while banks sync after connect.
- Mail/Compose status line; contact editor is type-aware; APRS page shows which channel it transmits on.
- Desktop (Mac/Linux) parity — the same contact/APRS/channel/mail improvements.
Desktop builds (Linux AppImage, notarized macOS .app) are produced from this tag separately — see the README download section.
