Bridge 0.1.6
What's new since 0.1.4
- Copilot — a voice-first view above your sessions: an orb you talk to, floating pills for every live terminal, and a drawer with every session event. It answers "what is going on across everything" without you opening a session.
- Local voice — Parakeet ears and Kokoro mouth, both running on your Mac. Nothing spoken or heard leaves the machine.
- Mirrored terminals — every interactive
claudeon the machine shows up in Bridge, following its transcript live. - Terminal sessions are read-only everywhere — a
TERMINALtag on tabs, a "Live in your terminal" section in the session list and command palette, and a status pill instead of a composer. Every path that opens one leads to the mirror, so a terminal-owned session can never turn into a chat tab. - Sign in from the app — the Claude Code login runs inside Bridge, no terminal needed.
- Agents pick themselves, macOS notifications on session events, and a session sidebar with steps achieved.
mac/restart.shstops every Bridge server and relaunches the app on :4270.
The DMG is ad-hoc signed: right-click → Open on first launch (see mac/SIGNING.md).
Bridge 0.1.4
What's new since 0.1.0
- Project picker start screen — recent projects as cards; picking one names the tab and points the session at the folder
- Session renaming — double-click a tab to rename inline; names live in Bridge's sidecar and survive resume/compaction
- Flicker-free streaming — append-only transcript rendering; new messages no longer rebuild the thread
- Plan cards & one-click choices — approve/revise plans from the transcript; choice clicks are recorded as your message
- Composer dials — Model / Mode / Effort / Agent ladders and ULTRACODE mode
- Mac app and CLI checkout now share
~/.claude/bridgedata - Fixed send, in-place streaming, instant thinking row, cancel button, folder menu
The DMG is ad-hoc signed: right-click → Open on first launch (see mac/SIGNING.md).
Bridge 0.1.0
First public build.
Install
Download Bridge-0.1.0.dmg, drag Bridge into Applications, and open it.
The app is ad-hoc signed, not notarised, so the first launch needs a right-click → Open → Open. Once only.
On first run Bridge checks for the two free tools it needs and offers to install whatever is missing:
- Bun — the runtime Bridge itself runs on
- Claude Code — Anthropic's CLI, which does the actual work
- LifeOS — optional, and only offered when you do not already have a
~/.claudeconfiguration
Nothing is installed unless you press the button.
What is in it
Sessions as tabs, ⌘F search over every transcript on the machine, an editor for CLAUDE.md, memory and skills, a live activity log with today's spend, and a notifications bell for sessions that finish while you are elsewhere.
Bridge drives the real claude CLI, so a session started here is an ordinary Claude Code session you can pick up in the terminal with claude --resume.
