T3 Code fork 0.1.6 — shared native sessions

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 31 Oct 18:34

Fork release based on upstream 0.1.6, preserving native shared Codex, Claude, and OpenCode sessions across T3 clients.

Upstream source: 15fe2832. Fork source: b2b8589b. Application versions remain exactly 0.1.6.

  • Preserve native session discovery, reuse, streaming output, structured approvals, native titles, and auxiliary-session ownership.
  • Keep token streaming available while incorporating upstream settings, background-work, navigation, and provider API changes.
  • Preserve OpenCode text and reasoning prefixes across reconnects. Start live observers only for session subscriptions so model discovery and automatic recovery are not blocked by observer startup.
  • Use an explicit native-context capability to avoid duplicate history injection into native Claude sessions while retaining normal handoff behavior for other runtimes.
  • Keep Codex approvals externally resolvable after an invalid local response, and preserve native CLI configuration during attach/resume.
  • Preserve readable local symlink browsing, Git metadata exclusions, and symlink-cycle guards.

Validation: 130 related test files / 2,506 tests passed, 39 package typechecks passed, format/lint/Knip/GraphQL/React Compiler checks passed, and Web/server/Desktop bundles built successfully. Final native Android/iOS device acceptance was not rerun, as requested; validation uses the shared compatibility layer and Web tests.

Downloads:

  • macOS Apple Silicon: DMG or ZIP; verify against SHA256SUMS.txt. This community build is unsigned and not notarized; macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security.
  • Linux x64: unpack t3-0.1.6-linux-x64.tar.gz and run ./t3; verify against SHA256SUMS-linux.txt. The archive includes the server and Web client.

This fork prerelease does not publish to npm, hosted T3, or an app store, and does not configure an upstream automatic update feed.

GitHub CI passed on this exact source commit. Release build provides the platform archives and their validation logs.

T3 Code fork 0.1.2 — shared native sessions

@github-actions github-actions released this 31 Oct 17:20

Fork release with native shared Codex, Claude, and OpenCode sessions.

Claude live output capture is independent of slow session discovery. Streaming command output keeps following new content, and foreground commands retain their original scheduling. Native local symlink browsing is preserved.

The application version remains the upstream base version. Web compatibility-layer acceptance passed all three measured stages below two seconds. Final Android/iOS device acceptance was not rerun, as requested.

Linux x64: unpack the self-contained CLI archive and run ./t3. Verify it against SHA256SUMS-linux.txt.

macOS Apple Silicon: download the DMG or ZIP. This community build is not signed with an Apple Developer ID and is not notarized. macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security before opening it.

SHA256SUMS.txt contains the archive checksums. This preview does not configure an upstream automatic update feed or publish to npm, hosted T3, or an app store.

Source: b86f9ee86baec8e44dcabf23e899970817078b5f, merged into this fork’s main.

Release build and archive validation passed for Linux x64 and macOS arm64. The three Web screenshot-before-ack latency upper bounds were 145 ms, 305 ms, and 164 ms; foreground execution and final completion were verified. These are measured controlled-test results, not a guarantee under every network or provider condition.

Fork preview based on upstream v0.1.3 (d2c4403), including shared Codex CLI sessions and browsing and reading accessible local symlink targets.

  • Linux x64: download t3-0.1.3-linux-x64.tar.gz and verify it against SHA256SUMS-linux.txt.
  • macOS Apple Silicon: download the DMG or ZIP and verify it against SHA256SUMS.txt. This community build is not signed with an Apple Developer ID or notarized; macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security.

Fork CI passed. Linux was preflighted with a copy of the production database and verified after deployment. This preview does not configure an upstream automatic update feed or publish to npm, hosted T3, or an app store.

Shared Codex preview 0.0.0-preview.20261023.4 (macOS arm64)

Shared Codex CLI sessions in the normal T3 Code interface.

This fork replaces the private Codex engine connection with the native shared daemon. CLI, Web, and desktop can stay open on the same canonical session. Sessions can be shared across all directories or restricted to one directory and its descendants. The same server projection and provider settings support the React Native frontends.

macOS Apple Silicon

Download the DMG or ZIP and verify it with SHA256SUMS.txt. This community preview is unsigned and is not notarized; macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security.

Setup

Use a current Codex CLI with daemon and remote support (tested with 0.164.0-alpha.12):

codex login
codex app-server daemon start
codex --remote unix://

In T3, configure the existing CLI installation and the same Codex home. Leave Shared Codex server empty for that home's default daemon, or provide the same explicit endpoint used by CLI. An independently running CLI must reconnect to this daemon to share active execution.

Full setup and limits.

Validation and scope

518 related tests and 32-package typecheck passed. Release CI verified archive integrity, app version, arm64 architecture, and checksums. Real native CLI/daemon tests with an isolated mock model covered bidirectional live messages, reasoning, phone-side interruption, reconnect/restart, and simultaneous Web and compiled macOS clients. iOS and Android entry-point exports passed; physical-phone execution was not tested.

On a mid-turn join, Codex may omit unfinished assistant prefixes until the completed item arrives; published reasoning is restored. Native image/audio history currently uses textual references, and T3 title/archive organization remains separate.

This prerelease does not publish to upstream update feeds, npm, hosted T3, or app stores. Assisted by OpenAI Codex.

The application version remains 0.1.1, matching the upstream base packages. The fork-specific tag codex-v0.1.1 identifies this implementation without changing the application version or moving the existing upstream v0.1.1 tag.

Validation and scope

518 related tests and 32-package typecheck passed. Linux CI passed on source 077c5ca. The current 0.1.1 DMG/ZIP were rebuilt and published by macOS release CI, replacing the earlier local build. CI verified archive integrity, embedded version 0.1.1, arm64 architecture, and SHA-256 checksums. Rebuilds retain the existing release tag and its original source commit 077c5ca; the workflow fix is on fork main. Real native CLI/daemon tests with an isolated mock model covered bidirectional live messages, reasoning, phone-side interruption, reconnect/restart, and simultaneous Web and compiled macOS clients. iOS and Android entry-point exports passed; physical-phone execution was not tested.
