• Ship CommonJS declarations for the require condition. The package is type: module, so TypeScript read the dist/index.d.ts that require resolved to as an ES module declaration, and CommonJS consumers compiled with module: node16, or with nodenext before TypeScript 5.8, failed with TS1479 on every travels import. With skipLibCheck off, the same error also appeared inside the declarations of bindings such as zustand-travel. require now resolves to .d.cts twins of the public declarations, which import each other through .cjs specifiers. The twins add 11 files, 28.1 KiB unpacked and 7.1 KiB packed, and the package size budgets were raised to match.
