Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
Added
- Wheel-to-Wheel Widget: A duel view of the car right next to you — number, class position and the speed of each car side by side.
- Battery and DRS Widgets: For hybrid and formula cars: battery charge, deploy and regen at a glance, and a DRS indicator that hides itself on cars without DRS.
- Horizontal Weather Layout: The weather widget can now be laid out horizontally, with a forecast strip.
- Track Map Follow View as a Circle: The follow view can be cropped to a circle, with an optional background.
- Incident Penalties in Standings: Standings can show how many incident points have earned a penalty and how far the next one is.
- Twitch Follows and Subs: Stream chat now shows new follows and subscriptions.
- Qualifying Visibility for Relative: Relative can be hidden during qualifying, like other widgets.
- Laps Under a Local Yellow in Fuel: A setting to count or skip laps driven under a local yellow when averaging fuel use.
Changed
- One Installer Instead of Two: Marble Trace is now shipped only as the
-setup.exeinstaller. The.msiwas never used by the auto-updater and made it possible to end up with two separate installations of the app. If you installed Marble Trace from the.msi, remove it through Windows "Apps & features" and install once from-setup.exe— your settings, layouts and bindings are kept, they do not live in the installation folder. - Class Badges: Car class badges are now taken from a list of known cars, so classes are named correctly even in AI and hosted sessions.
- Standings Near the Bottom: When you are on the last visible row, Standings now also shows the cars right behind you.
Fixed
- False Incidents: Hard braking and running wide on exit are no longer marked as incidents.
- Fuel Tank Larger Than Allowed: Fuel calculations now respect the series fuel limit instead of the full tank size.
- Last Digit Jumping to a New Line: Numbers in widgets no longer wrap their last digit onto a second line.
- Incident Zones in Solo Qualifying: Incident zones are no longer shown on the maps when you qualify alone.
- Running an Old Copy Looked Like Broken Settings: When a second, outdated copy of Marble Trace is started — usually from a shortcut left behind by an earlier install into another folder — the app now says so, naming both folders and versions, instead of only reporting that the settings were written by a newer version.
