This is the first Rust release of aproman, one minor version ahead of the
final Python package release in aproman-py.

Rust Rewrite

  • Reimplemented the daemon as a single-binary Rust crate.
  • Preserved the existing aproman command name, config file path, service name,
    and core suspend/resume behavior.
  • Added systemd and OpenRC service installation support.
  • Added release tarballs for Linux x86_64, Linux x86_64 musl, and Linux
    aarch64.

Commands

  • Added the same command set as the Python version: cycle,
    get-default-card, get-default-profile, install-service, list-cards,
    list-profiles, set-default-card, set-default-profile, and
    uninstall-service.
  • Added toggle as an alias for cycle.

Checks

  • Added Rust unit tests, Docker integration smoke tests, CI, release builds, and
    crates.io publishing workflow support.
