Release Notes 2026-10-30 - Tagged 0.3.6

  • New Features

    • Add low voltage warning on startup for flashcarts that support it.
    • Add metadata for the menu ROM.
    • Add embedded homebrew ROM metadata image support.
  • Bug Fixes

    • Fix Datel Code Types:
      • DE cheat codes no longer consume the next cheat line like other conditional opcodes (D0, D1, D2, D3).
      • DE opcodes are still ignored by the cheat engine, but they don't prevent the next line from executing anymore.
      • E.g., DE000400 0000 followed by EE000000 0000 (for 1080° Snowboarding) would previously skip the EE line, causing the game to freeze at startup.
    • Fix (opt-in flag) autoload feature failing to load paths correctly. (Note, this feature is opt-in because Fast Reboot takes priority).
  • Documentation

    • None.
  • Refactor

    • DFS: Each asset type is now contained within a subdirectory rather than a flat file system.
