• Time Capsule: Added a new section to the Home screen that takes you back in time by showcasing songs you listened to on the same day last year.
• Followed Artists Release Notifications: Get notified when a followed artist releases a new song or album, so you never miss new music.
• Customizable Notifications: Both Time Capsule and followed artist release notifications can be independently enabled or disabled.

Bug Fixes

• Wired Device Detection: Fixed an issue where wired audio devices were not properly detected in the Connect menu and device labels.

Currently Working On

• In-App Auto Updates: Working on implementing an automatic update system that allows users to download and install new Interlude Music updates directly within the app, without manually downloading APKs.

Bug Fixes

• Song Details Background: Fixed the solid black container behind the song details so it now follows your menu style (frosted glass, transparent or opaque).
• Immersive Player Lyrics: Fixed lyrics showing up coloured when Immersive was picked during onboarding. They're now white, as they should be.
• Wrapped Playlist Cover: The cover no longer says "Metrolist Wrapped 2025". Yes, that was outdated.
• New Wrapped Playlist Covers: Brand new "Interlude Wrapped 2026" covers for your Wrapped playlist, in both dark and light.

Under the Hood

• Anonymous Usage Stats: Interlude now sends a single anonymous "app opened" count so I can finally see how many of you are out there. No account, listening or personal data is sent. You can turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy.

  After two sleepless nights and a concerning amount of coffee, it's finally here! short, looping video clips that bring your music to life, just like Spotify's Canvas feature.

  • Requires a Spotify cookie for authentication, as Spotify blocks login through embedded WebView containers for security reasons.

• New Bluetooth & Audio Output Menu
  Switch between your available audio output devices directly from the player.

UI & Experience Improvements

A new look, smarter music recognition, and a bunch of fixes to make everything feel a little smoother.

What's New

• Music Recognition Playback — Added Shazam-like music recognition. Once a song is identified, it automatically starts playing from the exact point where recognition stopped.
• Frosted Glass UI — a brand-new frosted glass appearance throughout the app. Fancy, right? Not a fan? You can disable it in Settings.
• Now Playing Fade Effect — The currently playing song now features a smooth left-to-right fade instead of a boring old container. Because rectangles deserve personality too.

• Player Style Blur Revamp — Reworked the player blur effects for a cleaner, more polished appearance.

• Player Menu Redesign — Removed the old player menu blur and introduced a dedicated frosted glass menu setting.
