Changed

  • The client identifies itself with its release. Sign-in and every API call used to send the
    fixed external-drive-linux@0.1.0-alpha and proton-drive-linux/0.1.0. If Proton retired that
    version, every release would fail to sign in at once and no update could fix it. The client now
    sends external-drive-linux@<version>-stable and proton-drive-linux/<version>. app_version
    and user_agent in config.json are optional overrides now. The fixed values that releases up
    to 3.1.0 wrote there count as unset and are removed on the next save. A value you set by hand is
    kept.
  • The About dialog shows the release version, and its debug info shows the identity that is
    actually sent.
