Add template-aware PPTX export (pptx: frontmatter / --template) that builds native, editable slides on a conference template's layouts with mapped placeholders, rich text, lists, columns, figures, legends, citations, and pruned sample media; add the <!-- eyebrow: ... --> directive, run PPTX tests in CI, and stop doubling the period after author initials in references; <!-- only: html --> / <!-- only: pptx --> keep a slide to one format, and both PPTX exporters skip browser-only blocks (box, conversation, iframe, builtwith) with a warning and turn toc blocks into native chapter lists SVG figures are rasterized with the same headless Chromium the PDF export uses (with figure-title: heading applied), <img> tags and their captions export like markdown images, and the notes master is registered so Keynote opens the file; HTML diagrams (nested <div>s or <svg>) are laid out in headless Chromium and exported as native shapes in the template's colors, with Morph (Keynote: Magic Move) between consecutive steps of the same diagram; headings shrink to keep each ## line on one line, section and closing slides shrink to fit, body text follows the template's size, figure-titled plots carry their own heading, captions center under figures with links kept, title slides without a photo pull the name into its spot, and sibling elements in a diagram's HTML block export with it instead of being dropped (#54)
Fixed: Keynote rejected export --pptx decks that had speaker notes as an invalid file, because python-pptx never lists the notes master in presentation.xml; the exporter now adds it (#68)
custom_css accepts the path of a .css file next to the deck (custom_css: lecture.css); the file is inlined at build time so the HTML stays self-contained, and colloquium serve rebuilds when the stylesheet changes (#67)
Security: Pillow 13.0.0 in the lock file and as the floor of the pptx extra, closing the nine Dependabot alerts on 12.3.0; Python 3.10 (end of life in October 2026) is no longer supported, the minimum is 3.11 (#66)
