Replaced JSDOM and cheerio with linkedom, and parse each page once: auto
detection, metadata, --exclude, Readability and conversion now share one
document. Static conversions are roughly 3.5–4× faster end to end and use
about half the memory.
Load the HTML pipeline lazily, so --version, --help and cache hits no
longer import it (~550 ms → ~50 ms).
Headless mode launches Chromium once instead of launching it a first time
just to check that it is installed.
Bumped the cache format to store the strategy and server token count.
Existing cache entries are ignored and re-fetched once after upgrading.
Fixed
Accepting the Chromium install prompt now works under Node: it runs
Playwright's CLI with the current runtime instead of importing bun.
Table-to-JSON conversion no longer mixes rows and cells of nested tables
into the outer table (visible mostly with --raw on layout-table pages).
Cache hits now report the strategy that produced the page in the Strategy: line and frontmatter, instead of always static.
--js and --no-js now re-fetch when the cached entry came from a
strategy they would not use (for example, --no-js with a cached headless
render), as the README always described.
Cache hits keep the server's x-markdown-tokens count, so --verbose
still prints it.
