UI redesign

• New home screen with a large connect toggle, aligned with the desktop client

Split tunnelling (new)

You can choose which applications route their traffic through the NetBird tunnel. The selection is stored per profile, so different profiles can have different application lists. If no application is selected, all traffic goes through the tunnel.

SSH client (new)

A built-in SSH client that connects to peers using NetBird authentication, and can also reach general SSH hosts.

Session expiration (new)

A banner shows the SSO session expiry with the remaining time, and the notification shows it as well. Tapping the banner extends the session right away.

Network / connectivity

• Fast reconnect to the NetBird network after a data connection switch
• Network changes handled without restarting the engine
• TUN settings refreshed on rebuild, TUN renewed only when its routes change
• A stuck connection attempt can be cancelled from the main toggle

Profiles

• Shows which account each profile is signed in with
• Unified management server selection across the UI, self-hosted URL validation fixed
• Migrate to profile ids
• Use Build.MODEL for device hostname instead of Build.PRODUCT

• No longer crashes when the VPN consent dialog is missing
