Phone check is the first screen. An agent app that opens on an empty chat
leaves people with nothing to type. A new install now shows a score for this
phone and what it is based on: free storage, security patch age, battery health,
and which other apps can read the screen, read notifications or act as device
administrators. It needs no model, key or permission. Each finding has a Fix
it button that hands the job to the agent in a new chat, which has to ask
before changing anything. Also in Settings.
Changed
Rebuilt on OpenMinis 1.15. Everything upstream shipped since 0.20-preview
comes with it: sub agents, a Settings > Network page with Tailscale and proxies,
a usage page and provider quotas, questions from the assistant that can be
answered from a notification, in-app updates, rebuilt backup and restore, tablet
layout, and 20+ languages. Notification triggers, the approval gate, per-app
memory and the setup screen carry over unchanged.
Accessibility and notification access have to be turned on again after
updating from 1.5.0: Android stores those grants by class name, and the classes
moved back to upstream's package so future updates merge cleanly.
The release APK is named OpenThumb-<version>-build<N>-arm64-v8a.apk, which is
what the in-app updater reads the version from.
Fixed
python3 in the sandbox. The rootfs image was built without execute bits on
packaged binaries, which the newer PRoot refuses to run. New image rootfs-3.21.3-2.
Crash reports, feedback mail and the privacy link no longer go to upstream's
addresses, and provider attribution names this project.
Sync follows the default route in Settings > Network.
