Decky Loader plugin and standalone scripts for moving saves and settings between Steam Decks.

  • Choose Steam saves, screenshots, artwork, Proton folders, account preferences and Decky data.
  • Add other files and folders from your home directory, with sizes and individual restore choices.
  • Review and save a plan in Decky, then run it through the Desktop companion with Steam closed.

Download steam-deck-backup-decky.zip from Assets and install it through Decky settings → Developer → Install Plugin from ZIP File. See the installation instructions for the full steps. SHA256SUMS contains the ZIP's SHA-256 checksum.

This is a development prerelease. A complete restore through the Desktop companion still needs verification on a Steam Deck. The release passed the 45 synthetic tests, frontend checks and build in GitHub Actions.
