Added

  • Terminal tab split panes: split right/down from the tab context menu or keyboard, draggable dividers, drag a tab onto a pane edge (or back to the tab bar to ungroup), split groups render as capsules and park in the tab bar when unfocused, Escape cancels any drag.
  • Command panel dock positions: dock bottom (default) or top/left/right by dragging its tab bar against a window edge; the position is saved to the global config and restored on launch. Resize handles per axis, and sizes remembered separately for top/bottom (height) and left/right (width) docks.
  • Ctrl+Alt+ArrowRight / Ctrl+ArrowDown split shortcuts with Settings rows and reset.

Fixed

  • Split shortcuts no longer swallow keystrokes outside the terminal view and no longer fire while typing in a UI input; keys reach the app with terminal focus.
  • Drag gestures (tab drag, pane divider, panel dock) no longer latch when the mouse button is released outside the window, and a lost release no longer swallows the next tab click.
  • Main terminal content now uses the full terminal area: the fit proposal no longer subtracts a phantom 14 px scrollbar gutter (xterm renders ~2 columns wider), and the transparency-override rules fall back through the solid terminal background var so the sub-cell slack left by grid snapping paints in the terminal color instead of the window backdrop.
  • Terminal grids refit themselves once web fonts finish loading, so a late font-display: swap no longer leaves columns/rows sized against stale cell metrics.

Changed

  • Split shortcut defaults use the ArrowRight/ArrowDown spelling (legacy Right/Down still matches).
  • Reduced-transparency fallback for the split snap overlay.
  • Rust test APPDATA moved to a thread-local so suites can run in parallel; Windows build delay-loads comctl32 so MSVC test binaries load.

Which file do I download?

  • Windows: x64-setup.exe to install, or x64_portable.exe to run without installing.
  • macOS: aarch64.dmg for Apple Silicon (M1 and newer), x64.dmg for Intel.
  • Linux: .AppImage runs on any distro; grab the .deb or .rpm for your package manager.

Ignore the .sig and .app.tar.gz files. The auto-updater uses those.
