Release Notes
Added
- Performance overview (
p on a Virtual Machine or Host row): replaces the inventory with a full-body realtime view of that one object. CPU, consumed memory, network throughput, and disk throughput cover about the last 30 minutes at a 20-second sample. A wide terminal shows four charts; shorter and narrower ones step down through a chart plus badges to four badge lines and a sparkline for the focused domain. Tab, Shift-Tab, and 1–4 move focus (CPU, memory, network, disk). Esc or Backspace returns to the same inventory row. q still quits. A gap breaks the line. A failed refresh keeps the last graphs and shows ERR in the title. The inventory sparklines pause while the overview is open.
- Hide the application header with
z from any view except an active search. The choice lasts for the session, including after leaving the overview, and gives those five rows to the current view.
Changed
vim_rs 0.7.0: the crate now comes from crates.io instead of a path checkout. Performance queries use vim_rs::perf (Cargo feature perf). Bindings stay on vSphere API 9.1. Shutdown still calls Client::close.
- Third-party dependencies: refreshed
Cargo.lock to the newest releases allowed by the manifest and Rust 1.89, including tokio 1.54.1.
Security
rustls-webpki 0.103.16 rejects certificate paths that use the distrusted emSign intermediates (RUSTSEC-2026-0382).
webpki-root-certs 1.0.11 drops those emSign roots (RUSTSEC-2026-0383, RUSTSEC-2026-0381).
cargo audit reports no remaining advisories.
