Question: How add fonts?

If I want to add a google font to my project, eg. Roboto, how would I go about it? The style sheets supports the font-family property but I guess I have to add the fonts to the project somehow.

Would appreciate a guiding sentence or two!

Currently, we could only use fonts are present by default on Qt.

But I did check on how big of an effort it would be to add a custom font.
And turns out its pretty straightforward.

we just need to export out this component from Qt.

If you have time could you help out with a pr ?
You can basically follow this pr: https://github.com/nodegui/nodegui/pull/85/files
and see what changes I made to add QClipboard and make similar changes to add in QFontDatabase.

Otherwise, I ll be on the move for next couple of days so it might take a bit longer to add this in since I ll have limited network.

you can add font as follows for example:
import { QFontDatabase } from './index';
const id = QFontDatabase.addApplicationFont('F:/MyGit2/nodegui/dist/font/Roboto-Black.ttf'); // font file path
const hello = new QLabel();
hello.setText('hello world');
hello.setInlineStyle('font-family: "Roboto Bk";');
so it will work.

This would be released in the next release of nodegui. Closing this for now since its in master.

seem like addApplicationFont directory have to put from the root file system not from the project
