Chromeleon 1.0.0 (Chromium 156.0.8078.47)

The first release under the Chromeleon name, built on Chromium 156.0.8078.47.

Chromeleon is a Chromium build for AI browser agents, with a fingerprint identity you control:

• whole actions with human timing, one-call page perception, element handles across frames, settle waits, reading URLs without a tab and network recording, all over the Chrome DevTools Protocol;
• it reports itself as Google Chrome, runs headless without the usual tells, and can present a coherent machine of its own.

Upgrading from "Anti-Fingerprint Chromium" (153 and earlier): Windows treats Chromeleon as a separate program. Install it beside the old one, then uninstall the old one from Settings → Apps.

VirusTotal scans: chrome.exe · chrome.dll · chrome_elf.dll · register-browser.ps1. The installer and the zip are over VirusTotal's 650 MB limit, so these are the browser's own files from inside the portable zip.

The binaries are free to use under LICENSE-BINARY.md; please share this page rather than the files. The patches in this repository are BSD-3-Clause.

I got prime video and other streaming services working with high quality content now (previously would 403). Also refined the canvas, webgl, and webgpu noising to pass fingerprintjs playground like 90% of the time (results may vary machine to machine). I've almost completely stopped testing scraping tasks due to lack of motivation so please provide feedback if you hit ANY kind of blocks that aren't clearly on the proxy. Open source might come next release.

Upgraded to chromium 152. Also added some brand new CDP methods for agent-driven automation.

Brand new installer makes setup really easy. Now passes https://demo.fingerprint.com/playground on most generated fingerprints. When it fails I know why and have a fix coming soon. I updated README to reflect some behavior and feature changes so make sure to read the setup instructions if you're upgrading.
