FortCraft 1.4.0: Ten maps, unlimited ammo and inventory swapping

@nugggy nugggy released this 31 Oct 00:29

Ten new maps picked at random each match, unlimited ammo, and Fortnite-style inventory swapping.

  • Every match drops you onto one of ten maps, each with its own terrain and scene: Cubeterra, Sunscorch Dunes, Frostbite Peaks, Murkwater Marsh, Emerald Wilds, Shattered Isles, Titan Ridge, Moonlit Isle (at night), Coral Atoll and Golden Prairie. You never get the same map twice in a row.
  • Ammo is unlimited. Guns still reload, but never run dry.
  • Rearrange your loadout: press d-pad up (I on keyboard, or the bag button on touch screens), pick an item, then pick the slot to move it to.
  • On a controller, emote has moved to d-pad right.

Android: open FortCraft and tap Download update on the banner, or grab FortCraft.apk below.

FortCraft 1.3.0: Controllers, editing and phone fit

@nugggy nugggy released this 28 Oct 19:10

Xbox controller support, Fortnite-style build editing, a better fit on phone screens and a Share button.

  • Controllers on PC and phones use a layout modelled on Fortnite's Builder Pro. Triggers and bumpers place walls, ramps, floors and cones in build mode. Tap B for build mode, hold B to edit. Menus work with the d-pad or stick too.
  • Edit your builds: aim at a piece you built, press F (or hold B on a controller), drag across tiles, then confirm. Right-click (LT) resets it. Walls have a 3x3 grid for doors, windows and arches.
  • The HUD and menus now keep clear of camera cut-outs and rounded corners on phones.
  • Share the game from the main menu with a link to the latest Android app.

Android: open FortCraft and tap Download update on the banner, or grab FortCraft.apk below.
