AttemptDB 0.2.9 fixes local capture synchronization when no daemon is running. Hooks append events to a spool; sync now and scheduled maintenance now import that queue before uploading. Previously the Windows Scheduled Task could exit successfully while new work remained unsynced. Existing queued events are retained.

The VibeMon migration installers also preserve unexpected PowerShell failure reports, send UTF-8 JSON, retain an unattended transcript when Git Bash holds the parent log open, and redact and bound diagnostics.

Validation: 610 workspace tests and workspace clippy passed. Real Ubuntu 24.04 and Windows Server 2022 runners verified installation, two automatic background upload cycles, and reinstall without duplicate pairing, using synthetic events and isolated sync servers. Candidate validation.

The published, checksummed 0.2.9 files also passed the full Linux and Windows installation and automatic sync checks. Published installer validation.
