NVIDIA NeMo Fabric 0.4 expands its harness integrations with Cline, OpenClaw, OpenCode, and Qwen Code adapters. It also lets multiple runtimes share an adapter service, adds NeMo Relay telemetry and live streaming for Pi, and supports normalized model sampling and token-limit settings.

Release highlights

Four new harness adapters

  • Cline: Runs a local Cline SDK session across ordered invocations and maps supported model, tool, skill, and MCP configuration. See the Cline guide.
  • OpenClaw: Runs a Gateway for one runtime or connects multiple runtimes to a shared Gateway. See the OpenClaw guide.
  • OpenCode: Runs an embedded host and persistent session, with an optional patch artifact for files changed during an invocation. See the OpenCode guide.
  • Qwen Code: Runs the Qwen Code SDK and bundled CLI in an isolated child process, reusing one session across ordered invocations. See the Qwen Code guide.

Shared adapter services

The Python SDK now provides Fabric.prepare_service() for a Fabric-managed service and Fabric.attach_service() for a service managed by another system. Multiple runtimes can use one service while retaining separate runtime identities and harness sessions. OpenClaw supports both paths. See the shared-services guide.

Relay observability and model controls

The Pi adapter adds NeMo Relay telemetry and live Agent Trajectory Observability Format (ATOF) streaming through Runtime.invoke_stream(). Model configuration now accepts models.<role>.top_p and models.<role>.max_tokens when the selected adapter declares support. Hermes Relay telemetry requires the compatible merged Hermes Relay 0.9 revision in a separate Python 3.14 environment. See the Pi guide and Python SDK guide.

Breaking changes: Relay-enabled integrations require NeMo Relay >=0.9,<0.10; upgrade separately installed Relay Python packages and nemo-relay CLI installations. Explicit Rust ModelConfig, AgentModelConfig, and RuntimeHandle struct literals must include their new optional fields or use a constructor or default. See the upgrade notes.
