P4G 0.3.3 Beta
This update focuses on graphics stability and experimental improvements to external controllers.
Graphics
- Added a P4G-specific GPU timing workaround for intermittent 3D scene blur.
- Initial testing showed stable image quality at both 720p and 1080p.
- Added a stronger experimental texture sharpness option: Sharper (-1, test).
External controllers
- Improved left-stick handling with a radial deadzone and earlier full-strength detection.
- Added stabilization for brief input drops and support for historical Android input samples.
- Movement input now clears immediately when the stick reports its neutral position.
- Added configurable thresholds and an option to disable the experimental adjustment.
Diagnostics
- Added optional scene-resolution and final controller-input traces.
- Detailed per-frame tracing is disabled by default.
Known issues
The external-controller adjustment remains experimental. Some controllers may still switch between running and walking unexpectedly.
The graphics improvement has been observed in initial tests, but the exact cause of the blur has not been confirmed.
When reporting issues, include your device, Android version, controller model, connection type, exported logs and, if possible, a short video.
