Support for 16KB memory page on Android

According to Google: Official docs here

16 KB Google Play compatibility requirement
Starting November 1st, 2025, all new apps and updates to existing apps submitted to Google Play and targeting Android 15+ devices must support 16 KB page sizes on 64-bit devices.

When building a project using this plugin, after checking the apk with the recommended script: check_elf_alignment.sh from official docs, the native library libobjectbox-jni.so appears as UNALIGNED

The main issue for this is (was) objectbox/objectbox-java#1178 - it was supposed to work. Not sure if this is could an Android tooling problem?

PS.: please state which ObjectBox version you are using. Also, can you post the full output of the script?

I also observed the 16 KB alignment warning using our relations example. To resolve it, as noted in the documentation I had to update the Android Gradle Plugin to at least version 8.5.1 in android/settings.gradle (and the Gradle wrapper to 8.7 in android/gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties).

Maybe check if the Android Plugin of your project is outdated as well.

In my case the script still indicates that the app has UNALIGNED packages.
I'll leave a few file settings to add more context:
