On the TV
Search in the menu finds channels and programmes in the guide (now, later today, the coming days and on catch-up) as you type, and also your Movies and Shows. Below the box, Everything, On now, Coming up, Replays, Channels and Movies & Shows narrow the results (◀ ▶ on that row). Each programme shows once, even when several copies of the channel carry it, with Today, Tomorrow or the day and its time. OK watches, replays, opens a show's episodes, or sets a reminder (OK again cancels it); Hold OK gives channel options. Yellow adds what you typed to your watchlist.
Movies and shows are searchable without opening Movies or Shows first: Search reads the lists the TV keeps (or loads them once). Results are ranked by how closely the title matches (the whole title, then the start, then a word), then by what you can watch: on now, a movie or show, a channel, coming up, a replay. So batman lists the Batman films before the 24/7 Batman channels, and CNN still finds the channel first. Titles in languages you hid, and adult titles, don't show. OK on a movie opens it in Movies and plays it, so Back lands on it there; on a show it opens its episodes.
