Highlights
- A real walk and run. The everyday movements are motion-captured performances from the CMU motion capture database, retargeted to every body shape.
- Faces that come alive.
- Characters blink and glance around in every animation.
- 9 expressions with real teeth and tongue.
- A Talk clip, and 14 lip-sync mouth shapes (Oculus viseme names) for driving dialogue in Unity, Unreal or Godot.
- All exported as blend shapes in GLB and FBX.
- 70 animations, up from 39:
- vehicles (car, bicycle, motorcycle, horse, canoe, kayak, rowing boat, boat helm)
- sitting and lying down, with stand up and sleep
- hit reactions, knockdowns, deaths and getting up
- jumps split for game engines
- a low punch and a slouch walk
- more on the way
- A bicycle prop. Under Props, it's fitted to every rider, with the wheels and pedals turning in time with the Ride bicycle animation. Preview only for now.
- More natural skin tones for African characters and older men, and new dark-brown and black-brown eye colours.
Also
- Animation browser: search, categories, and previous / next buttons, in a drawer that keeps the character in view.
- Closed lips: a neutral face no longer shows the teeth.
- New test: a UI smoke test (
npm run test:ui) drives the app in a real browser. - Code: the app's UI is split into modules (
src/app/ui/).
