Content Management

oCMS provides a comprehensive content management system for creating and publishing web pages.

Page Management

• Create and Edit — Rich content editor powered by TinyMCE for creating pages with formatted text, images, and embedded media
• Page Versions — Track changes with automatic versioning; view and restore previous versions
• Scheduled Publishing — Set a future date/time for automatic publication
• Draft/Published States — Save drafts before publishing; unpublish pages to take them offline
• Draft Preview — Admins and editors see a draft at its URL, marked noindex; public users and visitors get 404. The page's title in the admin list and the editor's Preview button open it
• Featured Images — Assign featured images from the Media Library to pages
• Custom Slugs — SEO-friendly URLs with automatic slug generation from page titles
• Video Embedding — Embed YouTube videos (more providers planned) with responsive rendering and optional titles
• Editable Dates — Override created_at and published_at timestamps in the page editor

RSS and Atom subscriptions

Feeds expose the latest 20 published posts site-wide or by category/tag in each active language. Entries use the saved summary, or a plain-text body excerpt of at most 300 Unicode characters. Drafts, scheduled-but-unpublished posts, static pages and posts marked Exclude from lists are omitted. NoIndex does not remove a public post from feeds. Publishing, editing, unpublishing, deletion and taxonomy changes appear on the next request.

Full-Text Search

Built-in SQLite FTS5 search provides fast content discovery across all published pages. Search indexes page titles, body content and SEO meta fields (title, description, keywords).

Content Organization

Pages can be organized using:

• Taxonomy — Categories (hierarchical) and tags (flat) for content classification
• Menu Builder — Navigation menus linking to pages, categories, or external URLs

Admin Interface

The page list in the admin panel supports:

• Pagination — Navigate through pages with configurable items per page
• Sorting — Sort by title, status, date, or other columns
• Filtering — Filter by language, status, page type, or search terms
• Bulk Actions — Multi-select and bulk delete (see Admin Interface)

Content Translation

Pages can be translated into multiple languages with bidirectional translation links. See Multi-Language for the full translation workflow.

Import and Export

Export pages to JSON or ZIP format for backup or migration. Import content from other oCMS instances with conflict resolution. See Import-Export for details.

Webhooks

Content events (create, update, delete, publish) can trigger webhooks for integration with external systems. See Webhooks.
