PathForge CAM turns STL files into G-code for 3-axis CNC mills and routers (Tormach, Haas, GRBL, Mach3/4). Before you save, it cuts the G-code on a virtual block to catch gouges, rapid crashes and overloads.
Free beta for Windows 10/11 until 31 January 2027. Unzip and open PathForgeCAM.exe. Always dry run a new program first.
WHAT'S NEW IN 4.5 (from a real Tormach test)
- The app shows the same coordinates as the G-code: X0 Y0 Z0 marker, X+/Y+/Z+ arrows and the stock box.
- Camera starts from the operator's position (X right, Y away, Z up).
- New buttons: Flip upside down, Y-up STL to Z-up, Reset orientation.
- G-code header explains: cut depths are negative Z (Z0 = top of stock), cuts top down layer by layer.
