We're excited to announce a significant update to the CleverTap Gravity Forms Integration plugin, bringing enhanced flexibility and control over your data synchronization with CleverTap! This version focuses on empowering users to define exactly what data is sent, both for user profiles and events.

What's New:

• Customizable CleverTap Profile Key: You can now specify the name of the CleverTap profile property that receives the form's "tag" value. While "Form Signups" remains the default, you have the flexibility to change this to better suit your data structure (e.g., "Newsletter Subscriptions", "Lead Sources").
• Flexible Property Mappings: Gain granular control over user profile updates! You can now map any Gravity Forms field to a custom CleverTap profile property. This allows you to send multiple form fields (like phone numbers, company names, or custom fields) as distinct properties to a user's CleverTap profile.
• Dynamic Interface: Easily add and remove as many property mappings as you need directly within each form's settings.
• Flexible Event Data Mappings: Beyond profile updates, you can now define custom key-value pairs to be sent with each CleverTap event. The previously hardcoded "source" field has been removed, giving you complete freedom to include relevant context (e.g., lead_source, campaign, referrer, product_interest) from your form fields directly into your event data.
• Dynamic Interface: Add and remove custom event data mappings with ease in the form settings.

• Enhanced Configuration: The plugin's form settings now feature intuitive interfaces for managing property and event data mappings, making setup straightforward without any coding.
• Automatic Database Updates: The plugin now automatically handles database schema migrations upon activation, ensuring a smooth upgrade process and preserving your existing form configurations.
• Improved Data Control: These updates provide unparalleled control over the data sent to CleverTap, allowing for more precise segmentation, personalization, and analytics.

How to Update:

To update, simply deactivate the current version of the plugin, replace the plugin files with the new version, and then reactivate it. Your existing configurations will be automatically migrated.
