onWatch 2.14.7 is a Codex-focused release: account scoping, plan labels that match the CLI, and a clear note when the usage API and the CLI disagree.

Codex Pro (More) usage and account scoping (#142)

A Pro (More) account could show 87% weekly usage in onWatch while Codex CLI /status showed 43-44% for the same reset. Both numbers were real, but onWatch presented its value as if it were directly comparable.

  • Account scoping. Usage reads now carry Codex's ChatGPT-Account-Id header, the same one the CLI uses to scope account rate limits. onWatch no longer sends the X-Account-Id and ChatClaude-Account-Id headers, which upstream does not use.
  • Plan labels match the CLI. pro shows as Pro (More), prolite as Pro, and promax as Pro (Max). The server supplies one label to every dashboard view: the Codex tab, All Providers, and the multi-account overview.
  • Source note. For Pro (More), the Codex cards now state that the weekly percentage comes from Codex's usage API and that CLI /status may show a different effective value. No conversion is applied: there is no verified rule, and identical reset times alone do not reveal the allowance each source uses. The usage API value stays authoritative, and the difference is disclosed instead of hidden.
  • Default profile pinning. A running default profile stays tied to the account it started with. Switching the active Codex login no longer makes that profile adopt the other account's tokens or overwrite its credentials.

Other

  • Codex starter model. The auto quota-starter (Beta) now uses gpt-6-luna instead of gpt-5.5. Override with CODEX_STARTER_MODEL.
  • Dashboard. The Codex source note no longer disturbs the quota card layout at tablet widths, and account names are escaped in the multi-account renderer.

Upgrade notes

  • Pro (More) users: the weekly percentage is unchanged. A note on the Codex cards now explains why it can differ from the CLI.
  • Named Codex profiles: if you switched your active Codex login while onWatch was running, save the new account as a named profile or restart onWatch to pick it up.
