ChatGPT doesn't know Codex. Yes, it's a proven fact. When you talk to ChatGPT and discuss a project with it while you have a conversation open, and you ask it to build that project, it either redirects you to Codex directly with an approval message, or it gives you a work document — the so-called prompt — and you paste it there. After that, your job becomes copy, then paste, then copy, then paste. Why all this? They're two applications from the same company, but they don't know each other. When you ask ChatGPT to secretly direct Codex and follow up on the workflow, I haven't found this feature. And it's stupid that it asks you to screenshot the screen so it can know Codex's features. Also, Codex tells you that the MCP components don't work with ChatGPT. You need another type of component — a tunnel. Let's assume I'm not a technical expert — why all this complexity? And you find it telling you: take a screenshot of the screen so I can tell you the definitive solution without guessing. The company's own app interface — their app doesn't know its own contents? Strange. Imagine you're working in Excel and you ask Excel to format tables, then Excel tells you: what are the menus I have? Tell me, send me a video clip or screenshot the screen so I don't guess for you!! Is this the level of intelligence I'm paying fees for — so I can photograph its own belongings for it and train it every time and every project I direct it again? I'm a permanent user of AI — why do I have to discuss it in this tone every time? There must be a friendly meeting and a get-to-know-you session. ChatGPT — this thing is called Codex — it has folders of my projects and my conversations, the conversation from an hour ago. Search for these words, memorize them well. It will say: I can't access your conversations. Codex — I have a folder and a conversation. It will say: I can't, and I've given you permission to access my device's folders. Supposedly it's stronger, and my conversations are easier? Why don't they know each other? A flaw I found in AI — it doesn't know the sections of the web page in the same company that made it. It doesn't know your project folders in Codex. It needs other components. Today they're used for free, tomorrow they'll be paid. And it's your information being circulated back to you for a fee. We've reached a stage where I might find the keyboard and its letters — I can't write two letters except for a fee, or a number except for a fee!! The company used to say: you don't deserve money — give us your money, we are the real investors. What is this farce? Where are the strict commercial laws? You sell my information to me by recycling it through MCP with subscriptions? Side note: yes, today it's free, but the component owner may close it and your projects stop, and he forces you into fees with the excuse of the server or the data center. Where are we heading? Translate it.
