OKE GitOps 2.2.0 adds automatic runtime credentials and streamlines Argo CD and Flux setup.
- Optional OCI Vault, encryption key, separate Git/OCIR reader accounts, auth tokens, credential secrets, and scoped runtime access policies in the DevOps project compartment.
- Automatic credential-secret wiring into bootstrap and installation pipelines, separate from the applying user's repository-seeding token.
- Separate execution groups, prefix-bounded registry permissions, selected-cluster access, and explicit manual-secret allowlists.
- Argo CD and cluster-administration-only defaults, a company/organization OCIR prefix, and a simpler Resource Manager form.
- Reliable pinned chart-version overrides, including propagation through managed builds and the automatic installer handoff.
- Safer transient credential handling and Vault endpoint readiness.
- Portable Argo CD and Flux agent skills included as release assets, plus shared skill packaging for future DevOps releases.
Build pipelines still accept chart_version. Direct internal installer calls now use resolved_chart_version. Existing Git repositories remain customer-owned; merge updated build specs when upgrading. Generated auth tokens enter Terraform state, so restrict state access.
