[Strata] Ideas for after 1.0: how this works

[0b3l1X-SolidGeeks]

These are ideas, not a roadmap. Nothing here has a date, and some ideas may never be built. They are here so you can tell us which ones would matter to you.

• The roadmap is the road to 1.0, on the Strata milestones: what will be done.

• Ideas are for after 1.0: what could be done. They are grouped by direction:

  • The CISO's tool (risk analysis)
  • The source of truth that drives the infrastructure
  • The reference in a crisis
  • A map that covers more (traffic, firewalls, cloud, OT)
  • Everyday use and governance

How you can help

• Vote 👍 on the directions you care about: we look at the votes when choosing what comes next.
• Comment with the number of an idea, how you would use it, and what your setup looks like (tools, size, constraints). Real use cases shape a feature more than anything else.
• Offer to build or test it. If an idea is big, talk about it here before writing code: we will agree on the approach first, so your work lands.
• Got another idea? Open a new discussion in Ideas, starting its title with [Strata].

What happens when an idea is picked

1. Someone says "I'm on it" in the discussion.
2. The discussion becomes an issue (Create issue from discussion), placed in a milestone.
3. When the release that ships it is out, the discussion is closed with a link to it, and everyone who took part is notified.
