Eligibility of an Individual Developer Based in Iran for a Small Commercial Supabase Project

I hope you are doing well.

I am an independent software developer working on a small project called PyProfiler, a Windows desktop application that I plan to make available for purchase online.

I would appreciate some clarification about whether I am eligible to use Supabase for this project.

About me and the project

I am an individual developer, not a registered company.

I am based in Iran, and I would operate the project from Iran.

This is a very small, early-stage and experimental project.

I expect very low traffic, a small number of customers and orders, and minimal database usage.

I intend to start with the Supabase Free plan.

The software would be distributed as a downloadable ZIP file.

How I plan to use Supabase

I am considering using the following Supabase services:

PostgreSQL Database: To store a small number of customer and order records.

Authentication: For basic customer authentication, if needed.

Edge Functions: For simple backend operations, such as order processing and download authorization.

Storage: Possibly for storing small supporting files.

The actual software installation package would be hosted separately.

My questions

Could someone from the Supabase team clarify the following?

Is an individual developer who is based in Iran and operates a small project from Iran eligible to use Supabase?

Does this eligibility also cover a small commercial project where the individual plans to sell their own software internationally?

Are there any specific restrictions on using PostgreSQL, Authentication, Edge Functions, or Storage in this situation?

Would starting with the Free plan make any difference to this eligibility?

If this question needs to be reviewed by your legal, compliance, or export-control team, could you please direct me to the appropriate contact or process?

I fully understand that Supabase must comply with applicable laws and export control regulations. I want to be transparent about my location and the commercial nature of the project, and I would prefer to confirm my eligibility before building my application around Supabase.

I am not asking for technical support. I am simply trying to understand whether my intended use is permitted under Supabase's applicable terms and policies.
