Keiko 1.1.12 Release Notes

High · Fixes

  • Chat: history selection, summaries, compaction savings and final request admission use consistent token accounting, reducing context refusals in long conversations and repeated compaction.
  • Chat: image input is budgeted separately from text, so encoded image bytes do not cause false context overflows. Small vision windows use provider measurements when available and a model-scaled estimate otherwise.
  • Gateways: complete prompt budgets include tools and response schemas across corrective retries. Explicit answer allocations stay aligned with reserved context; calls without an allocation preserve provider defaults.
  • LiteLLM: model rediscovery preserves proven limits when metadata is absent, clears explicitly unsupported reasoning choices, and intersects routed deployments conservatively. Unavailable token counters use a bounded cooldown inside the original request deadline.
  • Support: correlated Activity Log evidence records context selection before generation, admission refusals, image accounting and counter fallback decisions without message bodies or credentials.

Normal · New Additions

  • Keiko now ships first-class portable downloads for Windows x64, macOS arm64, and macOS x64 so users can download once and start from the bundled launcher; npm remains available for developer and compatibility workflows.
