Fixed

  • The citrineos adapter could exit during startup: it asked the kernel for two ports by opening and closing a socket twice, and the kernel can hand out the same port twice, about 1 start in 6700 measured in the container. The callback server then failed with EADDRINUSE, and it had no error handler, so Node.js ended the container with exit code 1. The callback server now keeps the port the kernel gives it, and CitrineOS's API uses a fixed port below the ephemeral range. A callback server that cannot listen now fails startup with the adapter's own exit code 3.
