Paste works normally again

  • Restores the standard macOS Edit menu and text-editing shortcuts, including ⌘V.
  • Text paste uses the native field editor, preserving selection, insertion, and undo.

Paste images into System Two

  • Paste an image with ⌘V in the launcher or conversations window.
  • Command Space switches to System Two and shows a removable thumbnail. Add a question and press Enter to send; pasting alone never uploads anything.
  • Attach up to four images per message, including image files copied from Finder.
  • Images are resized locally to a maximum dimension of 1800 pixels and re-encoded without source EXIF metadata. Oversized or unreadable attachments show an error instead of failing silently.
  • Image messages bypass System One and use your conversation's existing Codex, Claude Code, or opencode harness. An image-capable model is required.
  • Sending an image without a question asks the agent to describe it.

Pasted images do not require Screen Recording permission. That permission is only needed for the separate screen-capture feature.

README showcase

The README now includes a large animated Space character, an animated walkthrough, and screenshots of app search, conversions, the calculator, instant actions, screen context, and image paste. Examples use public or synthetic content.

Update

Choose Check for Updates… from the menu bar, or download Command-Space.dmg below and drag Command Space to Applications.

The app is signed but not notarized. New installations may need the first-launch steps in the README.

Validation

87 Swift tests and 10 local-model proxy tests pass in GitHub CI. The release is a signed universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel.
