License
- Mollie for Merx is now a commercial plugin under the oweb studio Commercial License. Versions up to 1.4.0 stay MIT.
- Live sites need a license key. Activate it in the Panel's System view (Kirby 5) by clicking the license status of the plugin. Local and staging sites need no key (
localhost,.test,.local, andstaging.,dev.andtest.subdomains). - The license check never blocks your checkout. Without a key, the System view shows that the plugin is not activated, and payments keep working.
- Keys of the former oweb studio bundle work too.
Upgrade notes
- Works with Kirby 4 and 5, Merx 1.10 and PHP 8.1 or newer. Kirby 3 sites can stay on 1.4.0.
- Kirby 4 has no license status in the System view, so the key can't be activated there.
- The activation is stored in
site/config/.owebstudio-licenses. The file contains your key, so keep it out of public repositories. - To activate the key and to check it about once a week, the plugin sends the key, the domain and the activation ID to the Lemon Squeezy License API (
api.lemonsqueezy.com). This only happens during Panel requests, never in the checkout.
1.4.0
Security
- Buyers who leave the Mollie payment page without paying no longer get an order. Before, every payment that was still open created an order. Please update.
- Checkout fields can no longer mark an order as paid or switch the payment to test mode.
testmodeis only read from your config now.
Fixes
- Works on Kirby 5. Before, the buyer was never sent to Mollie and the checkout failed.
- The site no longer fails with a fatal error when the plugin folder is loaded before Merx, for example as
kirby-merx-mollienext tomerx. - Paid orders get a
paidDatelike all other Merx payment methods, so the paid date shows up in the Panel. - The webhook answers Mollie properly. It completes pending orders once they are paid, lets Mollie retry when the order doesn't exist yet or the Mollie API can't be reached, and logs refunds, chargebacks and failed or expired payments with
error_log().
Upgrade notes
- Webhooks are on by default now, so card payments that are still processing and bank transfers get completed automatically. Make sure Mollie can reach
/shop-api/mollie-webhook(no basic auth or maintenance page in front of it), or turn them off with'owebstudio.merx-mollie.webhooks' => false. On local hosts (localhost,.test,.local, private IPs) the webhook URL is not sent, because Mollie doesn't accept it. - Pending card payments and open bank transfers create an order with
paymentComplete: false. The webhook sets it totrueonce Mollie reports the payment as paid. - Orders store
paidDateinstead ofpayedDate.$order->payedDate()keeps working. If your own code reads thepayedDatefield directly, switch topaidDate. - Works with Kirby 3.9 to 5 and Merx 1.10. Replace the plugin folder to update.
