• Document locks: Boolean locked: true in stored frontmatter prevents
  overwrites, frontmatter changes, deletion and superseding through delivery
  adapters. A correct hash cannot bypass the lock. Unlock in Obsidian or a
  text editor, then read the document again before retrying.

Fixed

• Embedding identity is preserved across bare-name collisions, secondary/shadow
  index refreshes and active-model switches in catchup and watcher paths.

• ContextFit searches use their configured backend; source-only reads require
  no embedding assets and CLI reads do not provision memory sinks.

• Targeted edit section boundaries, identical mixed-newline no-ops and
  derived-index refresh/retry after successful edits.

• Locked documents return document_locked consistently through note and
  frontmatter handlers. Rejected writes no longer suppress later external
  editor events; watcher suppression runs only immediately before a mutation.

Distribution status

The CLI package (owrede-vault-memory-2.5.0.tgz), Obsidian plugin download and their checksums are available below. npm publication is pending renewal of the repository's npm credentials; the first release workflow passed its tests and build, then the registry rejected the upload.
