MODZ 1.1

What's new

  • A way back from every pane. Each pane the MODZ panel opens has a ← MODZ button at the top. It brings the panel forward, and opens it again if it was closed.
  • Customize the panel. Move rows up, hide the ones you do not use, bring them back from Hidden, or Reset. Your layout is kept across sessions.
  • Add your own mod. Any mod that reports a line to the panel gets a row of its own, with no change to MODZ. See Add your own mod to the panel.
  • Transceiver is marked beta on the panel, in the docs and on the site.
  • Meters read 42% and full in English.

Update

/plugin marketplace update modz
/plugin update modz@modz

Then update the other mods you use the same way, and start a new session.

Tested on Claude Code 2.1.295 (desktop engine) and 2.1.296 (CLI): every mod validates and passes its tests on both and type-checks, and bin/modz desk drives the real engine through every panel and every ← MODZ button with 0 failures.

Install

/plugin marketplace add partalemre/MODZ
/plugin install modz@modz

Then add any mod by name, for example /plugin install savvy-progress@modz. Or ask your coding agent: Install MODZ for me. Follow https://partalemre.github.io/MODZ/llms.txt and ask me which mods I want.

In this release

  • The panel (modz): one live line per mod and one click to its pane, in the desktop app's Code tab and in the terminal.
  • Work: savvy-progress, savvy-flow, filetree, plan-steps, transceiver.
  • Safety: blast-radius, secret-guard, checkpoint, test-badge, replay-theater.
  • Meter: session-budget, cache-tax, hud-pro.
  • Comfort: done-ping, reflect-mod, skins, terminal-browser.
  • English by default; "MODZ_LANG": "tr" in the env of ~/.claude/settings.json for Turkish.

Requires Claude Code 2.1.295 or later. Tested on 2.1.295 (desktop engine) and 2.1.296 (CLI): every mod validates and passes its tests on both and type-checks against the 2.1.296 types, and bin/modz desk drives the real engine through every panel.
