CodeGraph Zig v1.6.2-zig
CodeGraph Zig v1.6.2-zig
This PartMe fork prerelease adds Zig indexing on the current upstream CodeGraph 1.6.2 base. It uses a vendored, MIT-licensed tree-sitter Zig grammar with a reproducible WASM build. The existing languages and upstream release scripts are unchanged in the contribution commits.
Download the archive for your operating system and architecture, or install the attached partme.ai-codegraph-1.6.2-zig.tgz with npm install -g ./partme.ai-codegraph-1.6.2-zig.tgz (Node 22 or 24). The archives include Node 24.22.1 and the matching native extraction kernel. Check files against SHA256SUMS.
The Zig graph supports declarations, imports, calls, lexical ownership, aliases, type dependencies, and incremental re-indexing. Compiler syntax parity was checked on 36 controlled fixtures. Nine named three-hop flows were present across three real Zig repositories. Current ZLS and Zig compiler development trees still have grammar recovery in some files; the measured agent comparison did not meet the stricter faster-in-every-run target. See docs/zig-production-audit.md for the measured results and limits.
This release belongs to partme-ai/codegraph. It does not publish to the original author's npm namespace.
CodeGraph 1.6.0-zig (PartMe)
PartMe's Zig-enabled distribution of CodeGraph, preserving the upstream MIT license.
npx @partme.ai/codegraph@1.6.0-zig --version
npx @partme.ai/codegraphThe npm latest channel intentionally selects this Zig prerelease. The CLI command remains codegraph.
- Includes Zig declaration extraction, static import/call resolution, incremental invalidation, malformed-source recovery contracts, and the audited Zig grammar with its license and build provenance.
- Six self-contained bundles: Linux, macOS and Windows, each for x64 and arm64. Every bundle includes Node 24.16.0, the matching native extraction kernel, viewer and WASM grammars. Zig uses WASM.
- npm CLI/SDK, download fallback and package upgrade identity use
@partme.ai/codegraphandpartme-ai/codegraph. - All six native release builds and runtime checks passed. The Zig validation gate passed all 13 jobs, including the 12 platform/Node combinations and compiler/full-regression gate.
Runtime artifacts were built from 1408a883265172a90a52fabd1ba2adfe6287a3eb. The release tag additionally includes only documentation/workflow-trigger changes in 480d848812a73b69afb274ea90cd8f197c8d0c52. These verified artifacts are reused without rebuilding. BUILD.json records the source, workflows and targets; SHA256SUMS covers all six archives.
This satisfies the bounded Zig static-indexing acceptance contract. It does not evaluate arbitrary Zig compile-time programs or certify compiler-equivalent parsing of malformed source; three documented recovery differences remain.
Ordinary pushes and PRs no longer launch builds. Fork builds are manual or release-tag triggered, without a second release-event trigger. This already-built release skips redundant tag CI.
Publication verification
All seven npm packages are published at 1.6.0-zig, and latest selects this version. The successful publish-only Actions run reused the existing native build artifacts, verified exact npm tarball integrity, and passed a fresh-cache npx @partme.ai/codegraph --version check on Linux x64. No native builds were repeated for publication recovery.
A separate fresh-cache public npm installation passed on macOS arm64, including automatic platform selection, CLI/SDK loading, Zig alias extraction, incremental rebinding, database reopening and forced-worker resolution.
BUILD.json preserves the original asset-upload attempt; the Actions run above records successful npm publication. Platform-package README additions are prepared for the next version; this release's immutable npm packages remain unchanged.
