v0.7.0
Tapps Tracker 0.7.0
Two new beta features, Replay and Deck Manager, plus a faster, more capable Deck Finder. Watch any recorded game play back on a 3D table, keep a library of every deck you've built, and move decks in and out of Arena directly.
Replay (beta)
- Watch any game again. The new teal Replay tile lists your recent games. Each one plays back on a large, Arena-style 3D table with real card images, both hands, libraries, graveyards, exile, the stack with targeting arrows, life totals and an action log.
- Video-style controls. A scrub bar is segmented by turn, with play, step, skip turn, go to turn, speed and keyboard shortcuts. Playback starts at turn 1 with both opening hands dealt, and ends on a Victory/Defeat/Draw screen with the reason, final life totals and game length.
- Watch replay everywhere. It appears on Game Detail, Recent Games, All Games, deck and opponent histories and the Live Scoreboard. The console prints a replay link after each saved game, and each Game Detail timeline row opens the replay at that moment.
- Readable tables. Creatures wear power/toughness badges (gold when changed), planeswalkers show loyalty, and counters sit in a chip. Tokens show their real token art. Equipment, auras and cards exiled under a permanent fan neatly behind their host. Brawl commanders wear a gold Commander chip.
- Zoom in. Scroll over the table to zoom toward the pointer (up to 4x), drag to pan, and press
0or Reset zoom to see the whole table. Zoomed cards render at full resolution, so card names are readable on 1080p and 1440p monitors. - See what happened. Every permanent a spell or attack hit gets a red damage badge ("−6"). Cards castable from outside the hand (flashback, escape, disturb, harmonize, plotted) sit beside their owner's hand, labelled, as in Arena.
- Export video. Render a replay to an MP4 in your browser, with nothing uploaded, at up to Full HD. You can include the action log beside the table and choose a quality setting with a size estimate.
- Your existing history works too. Every game already in your database replays as Reconstructed, an approximation from its event log. Games tracked from this release on are Recorded, with taps, counters, tokens, blocks and attachments captured exactly.
- Customizable look. Table felt and sleeve colors are selectable. Replay needs a window at least tablet width and a browser with WebGL.
Deck Manager (beta)
- One library for every deck. Save any Arena decklist with revisions, notes and tags. Organize decks into named, collapsible collections; collections start collapsed, with Unsorted open. You can search, sort, filter by status and recover decks from Trash. Tiles show the deck's art and colors.
- Automatic capture. Decks you save or submit in Arena are archived from the log as you play, independently of your game stats.
- Direct Arena transfers on Apple Silicon Macs and 64-bit Windows:
- Load your Arena decks and back up one, a selection or all of them.
- Move decks out of Arena into a chosen collection to free deck slots, and Restore to Arena later.
- Every transfer is journaled and verified, shows progress and can be stopped safely. An interrupted transfer gets a reconcile step instead of being retried blindly.
- After a transfer, Arena's Decks screen redraws by itself, then selects and scrolls to the new deck.
- Keep Arena on its Decks screen, outside a match. Deck Manager only touches Arena when you ask and never during a game.
- Add to Arena works for saved text decks too, through Arena's own importer. Copy deck list puts any saved deck on your clipboard in Arena's import format, with exact printings.
- Backups include your library. Tracker backups carry your decks, revisions and collections. Merging keeps revisions, and resetting game data keeps your saved decks.
Direct transfers are new, especially on Windows, so back up first. Arena builds that haven't been checked yet are refused with a clear message. On those builds, and on Intel Macs, the library, collections, captured lists and Copy deck list still work.
Deck Finder
- Add to Arena sends a found deck straight into Arena with its name, format and deck art. Save to collection files it in Deck Manager with a searchable collection picker. Doing both keeps one saved entry.
- YouTube creators. Hello Good Game (HGG) and Sloth are included by default; add more channels in Settings. Lists are read from the latest video descriptions without a YouTube login or API key.
- Redesigned picker and results. Colored provider cards fit all seven sites on one row. A larger panel for the selected deck shows the full list with sideboard, commander and companion sections.
- Fixes: Moxfield and AetherHub load again where Cloudflare blocked the connection, and decklists that use a card's other name (such as Universes Beyond printings) are accepted.
Dashboard and tracking
- Paging: Decks, All Games and Sessions have numbered pages, first/last controls and a Go to page field. The Decks table and Sessions now include your full history, with no row caps.
- Win Rate Trend has its own range selector: a day, 7/30/60/90 days, all time, or your last 10–100 games. It shows the average, low and high win rate for the range.
- Live Scoreboard has a tidier header and compact replay icons in Today's Games.
- Faster pages: the dashboard caches its files and reuses connections, so pages load without re-downloading the app.
- More accurate results: match results are more reliable. Winners are never guessed from a partial status update or stale life totals, and empty-library losses are recognized.
- 0-power creatures such as Exhibition Tidecaller (a 0/2) show and print their stats correctly.
Installing
- Windows: run
MTGA-Tracker-0.7.0-setup.exe, or extract the-windows.zipinto a fresh folder for a portable install. The build is unsigned, so SmartScreen may show More info → Run anyway. - macOS: open the DMG and drag MTGA Tracker to Applications.
- Your games, saved decks and settings live outside the application folder and carry over when you upgrade.
