Release notes — Chat Pruner 1.3.1

Added

• Journal/Notes toolbar button (v13-safe):

  • A scissors tool is now added to the Journal/Notes controls palette that opens Chat Pruner.

  • Uses the icon:

  • GM-only visibility

  • Handles Foundry v13 control API changes:

    • getSceneControlButtons now passes a record of controls, not an array

    • Each control’s tools may be a record in v13 (and an array in earlier cores), so insertion is done record/array-safe

  • Single-click handler (onClick) only — avoids double-firing that could cause bringToTop timing errors

Fixed

• Eliminated a potential double-open race (caused by using both onChange and onClick on a button: true tool) that could lead to:

TypeError: Failed to execute 'getComputedStyle' on 'Window': parameter 1 is not of type 'Element'

Now only onClick is used.

Notes

• No changes to existing pruning logic, UI, or templates.

• Purely additive: the new toolbar hook is appended; the rest of the module remains untouched.
