The first preview release of CamelPlayer v2, a Windows desktop music player focused on bit-perfect stereo FLAC playback.

Features

  • WASAPI exclusive, ASIO, and Kernel Streaming output.
  • Four FLAC decoders: FFmpeg, Symphonia, dr_flac, and libsndfile.
  • Open, play, pause, stop, and seek.
  • Switch output settings and decoders during playback.
  • English and Traditional Chinese interface.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 version 1809 or later, x64.
  • A compatible audio device and its driver.
  • An installed ASIO driver for ASIO playback.

Known limitations

  • Stereo FLAC files only.
  • No playlist, music library, or gapless playback.
  • Playback-time FLAC MD5 verification is not implemented. Damaged or truncated files may not always produce an error.
  • Format support varies between decoders and audio devices.
