Diff editing is safer and easier to navigate, with a clean TypeScript build required before packaging.
Highlights
- Search expanded diffs with Command/Ctrl-F, navigate matches, and see character-level changes within lines.
- Stage, unstage, or discard selected replacements without reordering or losing adjacent edits, including files without a final newline.
- Keep the current branch first and main/master next under every sort; jump from a branch to its checked-out worktree.
- Correct IPC schemas and asynchronous handler types, local/remote repository contracts, graph renderer compatibility, and plugin refresh/status handling.
- Typechecking now checks every source once with zero diagnostics and blocks builds on errors.
Verification
- All 73 tests pass, including Git-state regressions and IPC/repository contract checks.
- Packaged app startup, bundled dependencies, and native SQLite verified locally.
- macOS app signed with Developer ID, notarized by Apple, and stapled for offline verification. The ZIP contents pass signature and Gatekeeper checks.
- Historical commit double-click remains read-only and preserves HEAD, dirty files, and stashes (#24).
Downloads
Download Ledger-1.6.0-arm64-mac.zip, unzip it, and move Ledger.app into Applications.
This release provides a macOS Apple Silicon ZIP. A DMG is not included because the build host denied App Management permission during disk-image packaging. Linux artifacts remain at v1.5.1; Linux execution has not been verified for this release. Intel Mac and Windows builds are not included.
Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS-1.6.0.txt.
Includes #80; resolves #68, #69, #70, #71, and #72. Issue #48 remains open for Linux verification, and #76 still needs a usable reproduction.
