Host actions. An agent can now run an AskOne session, not just read it afterwards:

  • create_room, open_room, close_room
  • create_survey (poll, quiz, rating, word cloud; launched by default; results shown by default), close_survey (with or without its results on screen)
  • moderate_question (approve or hide a waiting question), answer_question (mark answered, with an optional written answer)

Rooms land in the token's organization, on its plan and branding. Asking questions and voting are not offered: they are the audience's.

Tokens created before October 6, 2026 can only read. Create a new token (organization switcher → Manage → API tokens) to use the host actions, and revoke the old one.

  • Claude Code, Cursor and other clients: npx -y askone-mcp with ASKONE_API_TOKEN set (Node.js 20.3+). See the README.
  • Claude Desktop: download askone.mcpb below and open it.
